Hi dog lovers!
My name Fritz. I was born on the streets of Moscow about two years ago and was rescued after I had been hit by a car. I was quite badly injured and frightened, but by now - thanks to Katia's love and care - I am much better and have made many friends at Katia's shelter.
Due to the accident (my hips were smashed), I had to have most of my tail amputated and have a small problem with incontinence. My vets are not quite sure yet how to fix this - maybe I will need surgery or medication for it. I really hope that this can be fixed because I soooo want to be a normal dog like the others.
I am really pretty and people who've seen me grow up say I get cuter all the time. I'm a bit shy at first but will love you once I get to know you! I would be an ideal second dog as I need someone's shoulder to lean on.
Since October 2008 I have been undergoing doggy training, kindly provided by Astrid Berghaus and Martijn Vernede! Thanks to them, I went for my first walks and am doing quite well at this. I am still scared of cars and strange noises, but I am sure that once I have a permanent home (hopefully with another dog who will like me) I can overcome my fears.
I have been vaccinated (April 2009) and have a micro chip.
If you would like to meet me, please call Katia (Russian only) at (+7 495) 916-45-56 or write to (English, Russian, German, French).
Please visit me - I am really a good boy and need someone with patience to love me and help me adjust to life in this scary world.
P.S.: Below are some photos of me - from newest (September 2009) to oldest (top to bottom). I promise you that once you meet me in person, I'm sure you'll agree that I'm really cute...
